Pocket Holsters

A pocket holster keeps a small pistol or revolver upright in a front pocket, covers the trigger and breaks up the gun’s outline. It is one of the easiest ways to carry, and a holster is a must; a loose gun in a pocket is never safe.

What makes a good pocket holster

  • A grippy or hooked outer face so the holster stays in the pocket on the draw.
  • A stiff mouth or flat backer to hide the gun’s shape.
  • Full trigger guard coverage.
  • Nothing else in that pocket.

Wallet holsters

Wallet-style holsters disguise a small pistol entirely. Check local law before carrying one.
